Kate Vintiner – interim Principal and Chief Executive

Kate came to the College from Place2Be, the national charity for children’s mental health and the leading training provider for children’s counsellors and professionals that work with children and young people.

Kate has wealth of experience of strategic development across commercial, public and third sector organisations. Over her career, she has held a portfolio of executive director positions, spanning, education, training and children’s services – most recently as Director of Development responsible for the business strategy and growth of Place2Be and the development of its professional qualifications national pathway.

Kate’s main area of interest is in young people’s transitions – focusing on training professionals to better support children, throughout childhood and through transition to become robust, resilient, ambitious young adults.  Kate is the founding Trustee of Spark! and is also non Executive Director of Aspire.

Kate is married, with two children.  In her spare time, she is Churchwarden at All Hallows Church in Twickenham and is a school governor.
