Judith Skinner – Head of Department for FE Programmes and Apprenticeships

Judith has worked with the College in a variety of roles since 2003 including associate Tutor, Senior Lecturer, Outreach and Development Manager and Academic Registrar.

Judith’s experience in working with young people spans 25 years and includes practitioner roles with the London Boroughs of Merton and Bromley, and Wimbledon YMCA. She has been involved in the direct and strategic management of staff and organisations since the beginning of her career. She has been a Grant Assessor for BBC Children in Need, and was Deputy CEO and Programme Manager for a county-wide youth volunteering charity in Kent for 8 years.

Judith’s main area of professional interest is organisational management – focusing on value-based leadership, work-based relationships, and learning organisations. She is currently leading on the College’s Further Education Programmes and Apprenticeships. Judith holds External Assessor and Examiner positions with the Open University and Glyndwr University.

Judith is married, with two children. She leads worship and youth ministry at St Mildred’s Church, Croydon.
