Tina joined the College in 2004 having previously worked in a range of youth and community settings, including the voluntary and statutory sectors. She currently manages the College’s HE programmes, providing managerial oversight and student support for our degree and postgraduate courses.
Tina is experienced in leading teams and project management. She has helped set-up and deliver a range of youth service programmes, including creative ways of supporting vulnerable young people and community-based project work.
Tina’s specialist area is mentoring and coaching having mentored young people and managed mentoring programmes supporting young people at risk of exclusion from school. She has studied and researched in mentoring and coaching and developed an MA module – also delivered as a short course – in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring. She has been widely published in this area, including papers based on her doctoral research which sought to explore the shared and different approaches of mentors and coaches from a range of professional settings.
